The Hampton Roads Diversity and Inclusion Consortium (HRDIC) is a 501 (c) (3) organization serving the Hampton Roads Region and the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  Our mission is to create a regional learning exchange for organizations to share ideas and best practices on the value of diversity and inclusion.

HRDIC believes diversity embodies all the differences - life and work experiences, perspectives, cultures, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, abilities, disabilities and other aspects of life - that make us unique individuals.

We believe inclusion is the act of creating appreciative work ethics and an environment in which all individuals in a group feel comfortable as a distinct part of the complex mainstream culture. When employees feel welcomed, respected, supported, and valued, their performance and efficiency improve. An inclusive and welcoming climate embraces differences and offers respect in words and actions for all people.
